Abstract

Aceclofenac is an analgesic, antipyretic as well as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The Enteric coated tablets of Aceclofenac are designed with the aim to protect the ulceration and and prevent the drug release into stomach. The purpose of this research is to create an enteric coated tablets containing Aceclofenac that will help to overcome GI associated problem, minimize frequency of dose, patient compliance as well as duration of pharmacological action. Various post-compression parameters like Appearance, Weight variation, Hardness, Thickness, content uniformity, Friability, disintegration test and In-vitro release studies were evaluated. Aceclofenac tabs. were evaluated and found within parameters as in IP limit.
