Abstract

The current study aimed to generate Aceclofenac sustained-release matrix tablets with the use of mimosa pudica mucilage as well as povidone. Since aceclofenac is so popular as a centrally acting muscle relaxant, we've decided to make sustained-release tablets out of it. Evaluations of in-vitro release studies and other characteristics such as thickness, appearance, weight variation, hardness, friability, as well as content uniformity were performed after compression. Results of all evaluation parameters were in limit and satisfactory. Stability study of the optimized formulation was also done for 3 months and the formulation had shown satisfactory stability.
